Its cute, and you could give her a little pack of fabric bits to iron flat, after all, an iron is just a tool to aid sewing...isnt it?
If she likes it, why not. It could always be turned upside down and made into a boat. Or sideways and made into a....hmmm. A climbing frame for toys.
Definately, my Gwenny had a lovely wooden one. In fact I think I past it on to Hannah for Esme and Lucie, not forgetting Laurie !Obvoiusly by daughter didn't know what to do with it as I only iron a few garments per year !
