A long, long time ago I decided to make a doll's quilt (see here) not really knowing how to even make a quilt. I started doing the nice bit, choosing fabrics and unevenly sewing them together. Then it was left unfinished for many months until I eventually learnt (bother learning) how to finish it properly, mainly how to do the binding. So now I can (I think) make a quilt. Hooray! And dolls can snuggle to a cosy quilt in this house at last.

well done what a lovely quilt
What a sweet little quilt! My daughter wants to learn to quilt too -- I should encourage her to try her hand at a doll's quilt for a practice run as well.
